Bosol Injection – Fertility & Ovulation Booster for Livestock Animals

Bosol Injection is a Buserelin Acetate–based fertility enhancer designed to improve ovulation, treat reproductive disorders, and support synchronized breeding in livestock and horses. It is used for oestrus synchronization, follicular cyst treatment, anoestrus management, and improving conception rates during artificial insemination.

Composition (per ml):

• Buserelin Acetate 0.0042 mg (eq. to 0.004 mg Buserelin)

Indications / Uses:

For Cattle / Buffalo / Sheep / Goat:

• Early cycle induction post-partum

• Follicular cysts

• Treatment of anoestrus

• Improved conception rate during artificial insemination

• Oestrus synchronization with PGF2α analogue

For Horses:

• Induction of ovulation to align mating with ovulation

• Improved conception rate

• Treatment of follicular cysts

Dosage & Administration (IM / SC / IV):

Cows / Buffalo:

• Induction of ovulation (dominant follicle): 2.5 ml

• Oestrous synchronization (Day-0 Buserelin, Day-7 PGF2α, Day-9 Buserelin): 2.5 ml

• Follicular cyst: 5 ml

Mares (Horses):

• Ovulation induction / synchronization: 5 ml twice, 24 hours apart

• Conception rate improvement (8–12 days post-insemination): 5–10 ml

Sheep / Goat:

• Induction of ovulation (dominant follicle): 1 ml

• Oestrous synchronization (Day-0 Buserelin, Day-7 PGF2α, Day-9 Buserelin): 1 ml

• Follicular cyst: 1 ml

Precautions:

• Do not freeze

• Use aseptic technique and gloves during administration

• Pregnant women should avoid handling (foetotoxic risk)

• Store at 15–25°C in a cool, dry place

• Keep out of reach of children
