BPS-LA Injection – Broad-Spectrum Antibiotic for Livestock Animals

BPS-LA Injection is a veterinary antibiotic formulated for the prevention and treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections in livestock. It is effective for:

• Respiratory tract infections: upper respiratory infections, bronchopneumonia, shipping fever

• Urogenital tract infections: pyelonephritis, endometritis

• Streptococcal infections in horses (strangles)

• Clostridial infections: tetanus and anthrax

• Mastitis

• Septicaemia and polyarthritis (navel ill)

• Bacterial infections secondary to viral infections

• Post-operative infection prevention

Suitable For

Buffalo, Cattle, Goat, Horses, Sheep

Dosage & Administration

• Intramuscular injection:

  • Cattle/Buffalo/Horse: 5 ml per 100 kg body weight

  • Sheep/Goat: 1 ml per 10 kg body weight

• Dosage may be repeated after 2–3 days under veterinary guidance

• Do not administer more than 20 ml in cattle/horse and more than 5 ml in calves, sheep, or goats per injection site

Precautions

• Shake well before use

• Do not administer in pregnant animals

• Consult a veterinarian before use

• Keep out of reach of children

• Store at 15–25°C in a cool, dry place

Withdrawal Time

• Meat: 30 days

• Milk: 3 days
