Ceftisel RTU Injection – Antibiotic for Dogs, Cats & Livestock Animals

Ceftisel RTU Injection contains Ceftiofur Hydrochloride and is formulated to treat bacterial infections in pets and livestock. It is effective against respiratory diseases, foot rot, and acute postpartum metritis in animals sensitive to Ceftiofur.

Composition (per ml):

• Ceftiofur as HCl 50 mg

Indications / Uses:

• Bacterial respiratory diseases

• Acute interdigital necrobacillosis (foot rot)

• Acute postpartum (puerperal) metritis within 10 days after calving

Dosage & Administration (Subcutaneous / Intramuscular):

• Respiratory disease: 1 mg/kg/day for 3–5 days (1 ml/50 kg at each injection)

• Acute interdigital necrobacillosis: 1 mg/kg/day for 3 days (1 ml/50 kg at each injection)

• Acute postpartum metritis (within 10 days after calving): 1 mg/kg/day for 5 consecutive days (1 ml/50 kg at each injection)

• Additional supportive therapy may be required in some cases of postpartum metritis

Precautions:

• Do not use in animals hypersensitive to Ceftiofur or other beta-lactam antibiotics

• Do not inject intravenously

• Store at 15–25°C in a cool, dry place

• Shake well before use

• Protect from sunlight, heat, and moisture

• Keep out of reach of children and domestic animals

• Consult veterinarian before use

Withdrawal Time:

• Meat: 3 days

• Milk: 0 days
