Cepramast Intramammary Suspension – Dry Cow Therapy

Cepramast Intramammary Suspension is a veterinary solution recommended for routine dry cow therapy. It helps treat existing sub-clinical infections and prevent new infections during the dry period. It is effective against Cefalonium-sensitive organisms, including Corynebacterium bovis, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, Streptococcus uberis, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella spp., and Arcanobacterium pyogenes.

Suitable For

Cows (Dry Cows only)

Composition (per 3 g syringe)

• Cefalonium 250 mg

Dosage & Administration

• Dose: 1 syringe per quarter, once only

• Clean and disinfect teats thoroughly before infusion

• Remove the cap without contaminating the nozzle

• Insert nozzle into the teat canal and apply steady pressure until full dose is delivered

• Gently massage teat upwards to aid dispersion

• Immerse teats in an approved teat dip after administration

Precautions

• Not for use in lactating cows

• Avoid bending or contaminating the nozzle

• Store at 15–25°C in a cool, dry place

• Keep out of reach of children

• Consult a veterinarian before use

• Meat & offal: 0 days

• Milk: 4 days after calving
