Clavet Injection – Antibiotic for Livestock Animals & Dogs

Clavet Injection contains Amoxicillin Trihydrate and Clavulanic Acid. It is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections in livestock and dogs, including respiratory, soft tissue, urinary, and systemic infections.

Suitable For:

Composition (per ml):

• Amoxicillin Trihydrate 140 mg

• Clavulanic Acid 35 mg

Indications / Uses:
Effective against:

• Pneumonia, mastitis, metritis

• Joint/naval ill, abscesses, pyoderma, arthritis

• Blackleg, tetanus, enterotoxaemia (pulpy kidney)

• Urinary tract infections, typhoid, paratyphoid fever

• Hemorrhagic septicemia

Active against:

• Gram-positive bacteria: Staphylococci (including beta-lactamase strains), Streptococci, Corynebacteria, Clostridia, Bacillus anthracis, Actinomyces bovis

• Gram-negative bacteria: Escherichia coli (including beta-lactamase strains), Salmonella spp, Campylobacter spp, Klebsiella spp, Proteus spp, Pasteurellae spp, Fusobacterium necrophorum, Bacteroides (including beta-lactamase strains), Haemophilus spp, Moraxella spp, Actinobacillus lignieresi

Dosage & Administration:

• Cattle / Buffalo / Sheep / Goat: 1 ml per 20 kg bodyweight, intramuscular, for 3–5 days

• Dogs: 0.1 ml per 2 kg bodyweight, subcutaneous, for 3–5 days

Precautions:

• Shake well before use

• Use dry sterile syringe and needle; avoid contaminating remaining contents with water

• Use remaining medicine within 28 days after opening

• Safe for use in pregnant animals

• Store at 15–25°C in a cool, dry place

• Keep out of reach of children

Withdrawal Time:

• Meat: 42 days

• Milk: 80 hours
