Indications / Uses:

• Peripheral edema

Applicable Species:

• Cattle

Active Ingredients / Composition (per ml):

• Furosemide – 50 mg

Dosage & Administration:

Route: Intramuscular (IM) or Intravenous (IV)

Horses:
• Dose: 5–10 ml
• Frequency: Once or twice daily
• Interval: 5–9 hours

Cattle:
• Dose: 10 ml once daily OR 5 ml twice daily
• Interval: 12 hours
• Treatment duration: Not more than 48 hours

Dogs & Cats:
• Dose: 0.25–0.5 ml per 4.5 kg body weight
• Frequency: Once or twice daily
• Interval: 6–8 hours

Contraindications & Warnings:

• Excessive dosing may cause dehydration and electrolyte imbalance
• May lower serum calcium levels and cause tetany in animals with pre-existing hypercalcemia
• Rapid IV administration of high doses may cause temporary hearing impairment, especially in cats
• Use only under veterinary supervision

Withdrawal Period:

• Meat: 48 hours
• Milk: 48 hours
