Novamox LA Injection is a long-acting veterinary antibiotic containing Amoxicillin Trihydrate 150 mg/ml, formulated to treat and prevent a wide range of bacterial infections in livestock, pets, and poultry.

Use & Indications

• Upper respiratory tract infections
• Gastrointestinal and urogenital infections
• Skin and soft tissue infections
• Post-operative infections
• Effective for pneumonia, ear infections, throat infections, enteritis, E. coli infections, wound infections, mastitis, and metritis
• In poultry: coryza, enteritis, streptococcal infections, and other respiratory diseases

Product Specifications

• Active Ingredient: Amoxicillin Trihydrate 150 mg/ml
• Route: IM or SC injection depending on species
• Suitable For: Cattle, Sheep, Dogs, Cats, Horses, Poultry
• Storage: 15–25°C in a cool, dry place
• Withdrawal Time: Meat 28 days; milk & eggs – follow veterinarian advice

Dosage & Administration

• Cattle & Sheep: 1 ml per 10 kg body weight, IM; repeat after 48 hours if required
• Dogs & Cats: 1 ml per 10 kg body weight, SC or IM; repeat after 48 hours if required
• Horses: 1 ml per 10 kg body weight, IM; repeat after 48 hours if required
• Poultry: 0.25 ml per 1 kg body weight, SC or IM
• For large volumes in cattle (>20 ml), divide dose between two injection sites
• Observe normal aseptic precautions

• Shake well before use
• Do not use in animals sensitive to penicillin
• Keep out of reach of children
• Consult a veterinarian before use
